Christmas Reflections

It’s Christmas Eve! If you haven’t already, now is the perfect time to lean into Christmas reflections. Sometimes, the pretty bows, dazzling lights, and hustle and bustle of the holiday distract us from what’s really important. Among all the Christmas paper you will unravel tonight or tomorrow, remember to always unwrap the gift that came to us on that first Christmas night. Remember the babe who came to save and deliver. Forget the fruitcake. This is the best gift to keep passing around. And pass it all year long.

You may also want to focus on love, joy, and gratitude. Here are a few ideas:

  • Reflect on togetherness (love): Even if your loved ones are cross the nation or abroad, stay connected. Reminisce on days of old, like baking cookies or reading Christmas stories together. Maybe you made snow angels once upon a time. Laugh together, whether in person or virtually. Continue making memories even now.
  • Connect through music (joy): Do you have the Spotify app? Share your favorite Christmas playlist with someone special. What a great way to deliver a hug from a distance.
  • Be grateful (gratitude): Before the night expires, think about the person who made your day special. If it’s not too late, make a brief phone call to thank them again.

Your turn. What made your day special. I’d love to hear your comments below. Let’s celebrate this beautiful holiday together, even if it is virtually. Then, let’s keep the spirit of Christmas reflections throughout 2025.
