Exploring the Heart Behind the Words
You may have seen my tagline: “I teach women how to rediscover their God-given beauty and vitality so they can age well with grace, confidence, and purpose.”
Yes, it’s a mouthful. In conversation, I often shorten it to “I teach women how to age well with grace, confidence, and purpose.” But in writing, I keep the full line because every word carries intention.
Let me explain why — little by little.
I Teach Women…
Teaching has been woven into my life since fourth grade. I helped in classrooms with younger students. In seventh grade, I taught Vacation Bible School. That led to teaching Sunday school classes and Bible studies. I entered my college years at UCSD as a pre-med student, but it didn’t take long to realize that path wasn’t for me.
I took a few years off to figure things out. What was clear was this: I gravitated toward helping, guiding, and explaining — especially with children. Teaching wasn’t just something I did; it was who I was.
I returned to college to pursue education, became a preschool teacher, then an elementary school teacher, and eventually a homeschool mom. And if you’ve ever homeschooled, you know that season ends abruptly when your children graduate.
That’s when my teaching shifted again.
I leaned into teaching women. I first began as a skincare educator. Over time, as an aging-well guide. Different “classroom.” Same calling -to teach.
…How to Rediscover Their God-Given Beauty & Vitality…
One of the most consistent things I’ve learned from working with women is this: life can be so hard that we forget who we are.
Every woman is wonderfully designed by the Creator, no exceptions. None. Psalm 139:14 reminds us of that truth. Yet somewhere along the way, comparison and careless words creep in.
Our nose is too big.
We’re too short or too tall.
Our hair is too straight, too curly, or the “wrong” color.
Who decided these rules? And why do we believe them?
When those messages repeat long enough, we forget that our uniqueness is not a flaw—it’s intentional.
And sometimes, it’s not even about appearance.
Life itself can be cruel. Unkind words, broken promises, disappointments, and wounds we didn’t ask for can slowly wear us down. Over time, weariness replaces vitality.
Part of my teaching is helping you remember who you are.
God gave you your curves, your height, your skin tone, your hair texture — every part — for His delight. You are beautiful. Period.
Choose to believe the authority of Psalm 139:14 over the voices of broken people.
Vitality matters too. You were not designed to carry the weight of the world or shrink yourself to fit someone else’s expectations. As someone once said, “You were born an original. Don’t die a copy.”
When we try to fit into boxes that were never meant for us, we slowly lose our spark.
Remember who you are. Then be the very best version of you.
…So They Can Age Well…
Aging well has many components, and I love teaching every part of it.
Am I an expert in everything? Not at all. But I am committed to learning, researching, and growing so that I can guide both you and myself toward healthier, fuller living.
I love teaching about skincare for the face and body. It supports skin health and helps us look our best longer. But no about of Royal Jelly is going to help us look like a 25-year old when we’re in our 80s. That’s not the goal. The goal is to care well for the body we’ve been given.
Aging well also includes health, movement, nourishment, sleep, and choosing a more non-toxic lifestyle. That’s why I teach those things too. Appearance matters. Vitality matters more.
…With Grace…
Grace is something we often give freely to others, but rarely to ourselves.
We all carry hurts, habits, and hang-ups. Regrets. Missed opportunities. Things we wish we had said or not said. Things we wished we did or didn’t do.
Grace reminds us that we made the best decisions we could with the information we had at the time.
Giving yourself grace is a gift. And it’s essential if you want to age well. All the negativity will wear you down in so many ways – including shortening your life.
…Confidence…
Yes! Let’s lean into confidence.
Confidence in your beauty. With great skincare, you could feel comfortable with makeup-free days.
Confidence in your personality. Be yourself. No one does it better.
Confidence in where you are in life. Bloom where you’re planted. That doesn’t mean we stop growing. I always want to be a better version of myself. I want the same for you.
Confidence grows when we stretch ourselves. When we try something new. When we step outside what’s familiar.
Believe it or not, getting out of your comfort zone builds confidence. I know – it’s sounds like an oxymoron. But it’s true. You can’t build confidence by doing the same things you’ve alway done. Set goals, surround yourself with positivity, and do things you’ve never done.
…And Purpose
Purpose matters. When we age well, we often have the opportunity to live longer, fuller lives that allow us to continue walking out our purpose.
What is yours? That’s something only you can discover.
Purpose can shift with season of life. It can evolve. That’s growth.
In this season, my purpose is clear: I’m here to walk alongside you. To teach. To encourage. To remind you of who you are.
I teach women how to rediscover their God-given beauty and vitality so they can age well with grace, confidence, and purpose.
And I’m honored to do it.
