The week between Christmas and New Year’s Day is a great time to reflect upon the past 12 months and set future short and long term goals. This is not something you want to rush. This week I will spend several hours over three days at a small cafe with planner, pen, and paper. There will be no distractions of the home where countless chores such as laundry, dishes, or cooking would be calling me.
Here are a few topics you may want to consider when you set your 2022 goals:
We have many titles. Aunt/uncle. Wife/husband. Mother/father. Sister/brother. Son/Daughter. Friend/acquaintance. Neighbor/Community member. Co-worker. Member of organizations such as church, clubs, groups. What were these relationships like for you in 2021? What would you like to see improved? How can you accomplish deeper connections in each grouping? What will you schedule each quarter to develop better connections?
Have you spent 2021 as a couch potato or an exercise guru? Did you land somewhere between? Is eating healthy a goal? Is eating fast food a plan? Are you considering nutritional supplements? When was your last doctor’s appointment? Is it time for a trip to the dentist or optometrist? Have you missed your mammogram or colonoscopy exam? Are you exercising 30 – 60 minutes per day? Are you routinely eating enough fruits and vegetables and drinking plenty of water? How will you implement adjustments in 2022? From essential oils for many ailments, to weight management shakes, to nutritional supplements, you can find them all right here.
Are you getting closer to a debt free lifestyle or are you paying too much in credit card interest? Do you enjoy paying it forward and giving as much as you want to charities? Are you secured for retirement? Do you have a savings account for unexpected expenses? Are your children set with a college fund? Do you need to add a side gig for a few months to help pay off a debt? What would that look like for you? Explore the possibilities.
Yes, you absolutely can and should have skincare goals. Many neglect this area and one day wake up and notice sagging skin, experience pigmentation issues, or discover a few wrinkles. Did you know most of this can be eliminated or at least delayed? What you do for your skin today makes a difference in its appearance tomorrow. How will you invest in your skin in 2022? I have skin care subscription plans where you would regularly receive your products at the frequency you choose. Furthermore, you get the best savings with the subscription box…GUARANTEED!
Do you find yourself wearing the same color lipstick year-after-year? Have you worn the same eyeshadow palette for a decade? It’s time to switch it up. It doesn’t need to be drastic. A simple shift in hue can do wonders. You will be amazed at how empowered you would feel. You can try-on makeup right now, virtually.
Believe it or not, fragrances are another form of aromatherapy. There are so many scent options. Don’t limit yourself. Vary the notes and families, such as fruity, oriental, and floral. Be playful, flirty, sensual, and more. You can even change it up throughout the day. This blog post shows you how.
