These are just a few of the words I use to describe women. I love women. We are an amazing creation. And yet, we’re each uniquely different in every way. Sure, there are many shared traits—but deep down, where it really counts, we each bring our own style and finesse.

Helping Women Rediscover Their God-Given Beauty

It has been my honor to walk alongside women, whether leading Bible studies or mentoring who I lovingly called “a lady in training.” That was the term I used for my daughter when she was little, and it carried over to the girls in my Girl Scout troop and the young girls in my Bible group.

It’s no wonder this has shaped my life’s mission:
To help women rediscover their God-given beauty and vitality so they can age well with grace, confidence, and purpose.

Why Rediscover Beauty?

You might be asking, “If women are already all those wonderful things, why do they need to rediscover their beauty and vitality?”

The truth is, along life’s journey, it’s easy to forget who we are. Many factors play a role, including:

1. Marriage and Family

I see this often (and I’ve been there myself). We pour into everyone else—especially our children. We become known as “John’s wife” or “Olivia’s mom.”
If we’re not intentional, our identity gets blurred. We start putting ourselves second. We trade cute fashion for comfy “mom clothes” (yoga pants and a tee) because it’s just easier.
But the truth is, caring for ourselves first allows us to care for others even better.

2. Culture’s Expectations

These days, everyone has an opinion. But when God created such diversity, why should we all conform to the same box?
When we try to live up to the expectations of others, we shrink the woman we were called to become. That’s when self-doubt begins to creep in and hold us back from our true beauty.

3. Life Experiences

As the cast of Annie sang, “It’s a hard knock life.”
Life can be tough. It sometimes knocks us down hard and often.
In those moments, it takes courage just to get back up. And in that struggle, it’s easy to lose sight of our worth and God-given resilience.
