Well, Friends! This is it. We’re closing another chapter. Peace out, 2024! But let’s not forget that there’s so much for which to express gratitude. And there’s excitement of the unknown ahead. Yes, I know that can be scary. But change is constant.

Here are a few things you can reflect on today and the coming week(s).

• Reflect: We just completed 365 days around the sun. There were bound to be days of joy and of sadness. But we made it to another year. That’s worthy of a moment of gratitude.
• Do you select a word for the year?: As a business owner, it’s something I’ve been doing the past few years. Why? Because it gives a focus. My word of 2024 was implement. So every time I received training, I tried my best to implement it.
• Grace: Notice that I said I tried my best to implement it. Guess what? I get to be human, too. I miss the mark often, too. But I never let it keep me down. I learn from it or sometimes table it to conquer it on a later date. And, sometimes, you just have to laugh at the mistakes. It doesn’t matter if you’re not a business owner. What would you like to focus on throughout 2025?
