A large component of keeping you royal is giving you permission to practice self-love. It’s not something you decide to do occasionally. Self-love is a lifestyle to embrace. Daily. Every woman has her style and ways that brings personal joy. Here is my list of 5 things I love.
These items have been a game-changer in how I sleep. The only downside is that I never want to get out of my bed. In the beginning, I think I was catching up on sleep I didn’t know I was missing.
It was over twenty years ago when my husband came home with a cute, but simple pair of Clark sandals. When he told me the elaborate price, I told him we needed to return them. They were red. I rarely wear red. He told me to try them on. Needless to say, because it’s one of the 5 things I love, I was hooked. Approximately 98% of the shoes I wear are Clarks.
I later discovered the wonderful support it gave my back. Whether I wear Clarks high heels, boots, or flats, they are the most comfortable shoes that every touched my feet. No matter the style, I can wear them all day long.
For a short-time, I purchased them in-store. The manager was like my stylist. It was like having ME, but with shoes instead of skincare and beauty. She taught me about how the shoes are made to give total body support. Unfortunately, the store closed. So now, I purchase my shoes online.
When it comes to my daily exercise, I stay connected with an online personal trainer. She has a few hundred exercises on her YouTube channel. I’ve followed her for several years now and have had the opportunity to watch her grow as an entrepreneur, mom, and human.
Whether you have 15 minutes or an hour; beginning an exercise routine or a pro at it; want the use of weights or nothing at all, Jo has a routine for you. She also has an app, food plans, and fitness programs for purchase. She makes workouts easy and fun. I look forward to my morning routine.

Here’s a not-so-secret about me. I do not enjoy shopping. I’m a get-in-and-out kinda person. But, shopping Nordstrom brings me joy. I love the style, quality, and service they provide. I hope that’s how you feel shopping with me. Unlike the other 5 things I love, Nordstrom does not come into a daily routine. Nor do I need to shop there to bring me happiness. My true source of joy and peace come from my faith in Jesus. But it certainly is a huge bonus on the days when I shop there.
