Autumn: Time for Skin and Makeup Analysis

Autumn is a lovely season of change. We see it in nature every year. Leaves change colors and fall off the trees, the temperature grows colder, animals prepare for the long months ahead, and we shift from daylight savings to standard time (most of the country). In any case, changes occur with the days becoming shorter.

We pivot from flip flops to boots and shorts to long pants. Did you know this is also the time for a quick skin analysis? With the switch in weather comes changes in the skin. It usually becomes drier and may need adjustments with the skincare regimen. Therefore, it’s the perfect time to analyze your skin to see if you may need to pivot your routine.

On my beauty website, you will discover a virtual skin consult. It’s so easy and actually fun to use. You will learn which areas of your face needs to be treated (red), improved (yellow), or maintained (green). I am proud to say that after investing in Royal Jelly, my skin behaves years younger than my chronological age. I am in the green zone all the way. (See featured image)

The three categories of analysis are: Fine Lines and Wrinkles, Acne and Blemishes, and Dark Spots and Uneven Tone. Each of these are broken down into subcategories. Fine Lines and Wrinkles takes a detailed look at the forehead, crows feet, cheeks, between brows, and under eyes. Both the Acne and Blemishes and the Spots and Uneven Tone do a scope of the forehead and each cheek individually. All sections offer information on what causes problems in these areas.

From there, you are given product and skin regimen recommendations. Everything is customized for you.

But don’t stop there. Autumn is also the time to follow the rhythm of the leaves and change your makeup colors. This is when I go from Lavish Lilac to Spiced Plum lipstick, along with other adjustments. So what a fun time to play with the Virtual Try-On. Now you can try before you buy without leaving your home.

Upload a picture or put your face to the camera and virtual apply lipsticks, foundations, powders, eyeshadows, blush, brow pencils, mascara. You can literally try on everything except nail polish. Try more than 200 makeup shades. The best part is, you can upload a picture of a friend or family member and select makeup colors for giftable occasions.

So like the squirrels, bears, trees, and the rest of nature; we, too, need to make modifications during the autumn months.
