What I Love About My Business

I have been in business for over 20 years now. Well, most of those years I was a Royal Smart Shopper, meaning I enjoyed wholesale privileges while shopping for high quality products for my family and friends. Why pay full price for Royal Jelly if you don’t have to? Plus, there’s products for the entire family.

About six years ago, when I needed an income, my personal shopping and hobby became my full-time business. During these years, I have discovered so many wonderful benefits. Here are just four of them.

FINANCES. Our company has a generous compensation plan. We earn 30%, 40%, or 50% commission on all orders, including monthly and weekly sales. If you are considering joining a direct sales company, do your homework. Many companies pay their top representatives 25% commission, but our lowest level is above their top levels. I coach my team on how to have 40% or 50% even if it’s just for personal shopping. We have no sales quotas and no minimums, so it takes the stress out of shopping and running a business.

Besides earning up to 50% commission, we also have an additional 11% – 17% leadership commission and lots of bonuses.

FLEXIBILITY. I run my business on my terms. My business, my way. But the great part is, although I am in business for myself, I am never by myself. Unless I want to be. Our motto is FREEDOM TO BE YOU. Some people do online only, some in-person only; some do group parties, others like one-on-one appointments, and still, some choose not to share at all (we have a free website, though, so it may as well be turned on). I choose to do it all. I meet with clients and teammates for consultations or parties on Zoom, Facebook, Messenger, and quite soon, in-person again.

If we so desire, we have free training and coaching available from our company’s personnel and from top coaches outside of our organization. I get to work when, where, and how I want.

FRIENDSHIPS. Most of my close friends are colleagues or clients. I have much fun with both groups. Because I get to service my clients and their families, we really get to know each other. I like hosting non-business gatherings for them. Thank goodness for zoom since I have attendees from across the country.

FREE STUFF. Our company is quite generous and I get rewarded for doing things I would do anyway. I have earned jewelry, beach towels, purses, tote bags, apparel, products, and so much more. And I get to give free stuff to my consultants and clients. Because I have been blessed, I pay it forward.
